All through the pregnancies I said that I didn't care if we had boys or girls, I just wanted them to be the same sex so they would always be best friends (even during the "girls/boys have cooties" stage). So when we got the news that my sister had a little boy too, it was the best news!
The babies finally met for the first time yesterday, when my sister and her husband brought their boy to Chicago for the first time. They're in town because we decided to get the babies baptized together - a "double baptism" - and they will wear the same matching baptismal gowns that my sister and I wore to get baptized 24 years ago!!! Pictures to come!
This weekend is so busy (happy busy!) that I don't have a chance to sit down and blog ... So I wrote this post on my phone. But I couldn't let the day pass without showing you guys these photos of the "twin cousins" first meeting!
Lillian is holding Frankie on the left - he looks like a tiny drunk person. :p
They didn't really acknowledge each other's existences, but they sure did look cute together!
Ahhh so cute! Happy baptismal weekend to the boys!
ReplyDeleteSo unbelievably sweet! Many blessings for this happy weekend!
