I Love Nerds!

I haven't been in the mood to post for the past couple days, but something just happened that I had to put down in the Frank and Tess history books.

Frank is finally done with finals (ALLELUIA PRAISE THE LORD no more finals!!!) and he's running around catching up on errands. But he paused to gchat real quick:

Frank: so
for some time I have wanted to get my hands on the Clarence Thomas bobblehead
but he is hard to get
and they sell for $500 online
sooo I didnt think Id ever get him
but kyra has just gotten one and she is liberal so she wasnt too keen on having thomas
so we're gonna trade!! Im giving her my Souter one and shes gonna give me Thomas
  :D
  Im so happy
me: yay!!!
  you are such a nerd!!!

He even sent me a picture of his new possession:

I love how excited he is about the Clarence Thomas bobblehead. I mean, what? I didn't even know those existed!

I'm glad he's getting the Supreme Court bobblehead of his dreams... and I sure am glad to be marrying the cutest nerd I know. :)

    1. Thank you Iris! I'm glad you think it's sweet and not weird haha. I had my doubts about sharing this little piece of information but I thought it was too darling not to, and I'm glad from what you said that it went over like I meant it to!

  2. You know, for not too too much money, you could have a bobble head made of Frank, that way he can hang with his favorite Supreme Court justices.

    1. Really?? Wow, you can buy anything these days! That's really good to know and I might have to look into that a bit more. Thanks for letting me know, Anne!

  4. Has Frank read Clarence Thomas's biography? If he ever has, I'm surprised he doesn't want a life sized bobble head. :) I'm glad he was able to receive an early Christmas gift he so enjoyed.

    1. I don't think he has, but is there a title you'd recommend? I might just have to add that to the Christmas list. :) Thanks for mentioning it!

I loved it. It's his memoir. Powerful.
