Thanks to the snow storms, I got to stay home the past couple days and work from home in my jammies. It's refreshing to know that snow days are still a thing in the adult world.
Frank had to go into work (poor baby) but considering his office is right next door to our apartment, I didn't feel toooooo bad for him. I did feel a little bad when he had to take the train downtown for a court case and he said his beard started to freeze, but I also thought it was kind of funny.
Anyway, we saw on Facebook that magical things happen when you throw boiling water out the door in snowy weather (thanks Giedre for the tip!). Frank decided we had to try it out—and not just try it out, but film it for posterity (aka to send to his siblings in comparatively warm and sunny New Jersey).
So for your amusement, I present...

Stay warm out there!
My sister and I did that too, after we saw a video on Facebook of our pastor doing it. It's a little amusing how fun it is :) God bless!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! After this cold snap you will appreciate this little clip from some newscasters from my hometown: http://archive.kare11.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=902448
ReplyDeleteI FEEL FAMOUS. ;) Also: that totally never gets old. I'm just sad I didn't get a chance to do a photo shoot while using that within the photo. Next time!!

I made $20 for a 20 minute survey!
ReplyDeleteGuess what? This is exactly what big companies are paying for. They need to know what their average customer needs and wants. So large companies pay millions of dollars per month to the average person. In return, the average person, myself included, participates in surveys and gives them their opinion.
