Occasional panic interspersed with "Whatever!"

The subject line sums up my life this week.

Every now and then I have a spasm of panic. Top causes: I'm coming down with a cold, my wedding shoes aren't in yet (they were supposed to be here last week...), our programs haven't shipped yet, I haven't packed for Rome, etc., etc. You know how it is. The to-do list could go on forever.

I keep repeating to myself, "You know what is going to be ok? EVERYTHING." And then I remember that all I really need on Saturday is Frank and the priest, so who cares about the details? Except then I blow off making the seating chart, and my mom and the wedding coordinator get mad at me, sooooo you can't win them all.

One thing that's really helping me stay calm and happy is the many friends who have reached out to me with sweet text messages, blog comments and emails this week. They tell me they are praying for me and I pretty much want to cry from joy because I sure do need those prayers right now. So thank you so much to all of you who have reached out to me. I couldn't be more grateful.

Aaaaand we are two days out from the wedding! I'm so excited, I can't wait!

  1. Girl you are A-OK! Just take a few extra breaths. By Sunday evening you will already be forgetting these little things. But um, go make your seating chart too. And maybe pack for Rome. ;)

  5. All the little details do make you a bit crazy right beforehand. But in two short days, you and Frank will be MARRIED! And that's all that matters! Love and prayers heading your way! :)
