Every now and then, my sister Lillian and I declare a Day of Decadence, when we can do whatever we want and be impossibly lazy. After all, leisure is the basis of culture, right? At least that's what I tell myself to justify eating all that chocolate.My mom and sister Cathy left today (I will post soon about our adventures) and after 4 days of racing around London, I was spent. So I declared it a Day of Decadence and spent the afternoon with several cups of tea, gmail, and Lorna Doone (my new favorite 1700s pastoral romance). Then I went out to dinner with my roommates, and now I am going to Martin's birthday party. A lovely day indeed.
