Lazy Days

Every now and then, my sister Lillian and I declare a Day of Decadence, when we can do whatever we want and be impossibly lazy. After all, leisure is the basis of culture, right? At least that's what I tell myself to justify eating all that chocolate.

My mom and sister Cathy left today (I will post soon about our adventures) and after 4 days of racing around London, I was spent. So I declared it a Day of Decadence and spent the afternoon with several cups of tea, gmail, and Lorna Doone (my new favorite 1700s pastoral romance). Then I went out to dinner with my roommates, and now I am going to Martin's birthday party. A lovely day indeed.

  1. Tess, I absolutely, unequivocally adore your teacup. Where did you get it?!

  2. Isn't it the cutest? I'd been craving it for weeks and finally convinced my mom to buy it for me! It's from Cath Kidston, the world's prettiest store, and right around the corner from Candy Cakes on the way to school. I'd be happy to take you there any time you like!
