Easter Vigil

Just a few more photos from our wonderful Easter Vigil - one of the happiest days of my life!

Here are Frank and me with my sister Lillian and her boyfriend Matt. They just started dating very recently. Lillian is moving to Delaware next month and we're so excited to have her close! Matt lives in Texas where he is in Teach for America, but we're all hoping he can move to the East Coast soon.

Frank and me with his old roommate, John, and John's girlfriend Rebecca after the Vigil Mass. John was one of Frank's very first Catholic friends and played a role in his conversion.

Frank and me posing after Mass. On a side note, I just love that tree. The flowers and blossoms here in Virginia are out of this world!

This is the face of complete and total happiness. Frank entering the Church was the most amazing thing I've ever been a part of.

After Mass and the champagne reception, my family decided to go out for midnight milkshakes! What a great way to celebrate the end of Lent and Frank's entry into the church.

Here is the waiter arriving with our shakes. They were delicious!

Frank with my mom

The other side of the table - Dad, Maria, Caroline and Lillian. That Maria is quite the goofball.

Me and Frank, the newest member of the Catholic Church. We were a pair of happy campers that day.

Now that Frank is officially Catholic, going to Mass with him is pretty much my new favorite hobby. Receiving the Eucharist together is the greatest gift.

  3. You're messing up your pronouns. If you're captioning a photo of you and Frank, it should be "Frank and ME posing after Mass" not "Frank and I." You wouldn't say "I posing after Mass," would you? Regardless of whether there's an additional word, that I/me rule applies.
